Lab Manual Update

I spent another 3-4 hours working on 30B Lab 19.2.  I tried several concentrations and dilutions but could not get a good correlation between concentrations and absorbance values.  I may have narrowed down the lambda max to within 490 +/- 10 nm.

I would like to try the following next:

1)  Prepare a 1% glucose + 20 drops of DNSA reacted solution.  Dilute this solution to create standards.  Not ideal but it may provide some helpful information.

2) Look up the original and use those concentrations to see if I can replicate.

3) Use a different spectrometer because it might be a spec problem.

4)  Follow the 2 similar experiments I found online to see if their procedure works for us.

Also,  I have started creating FA15 V2 versions of the lab manuals.  

1) I am reading through more of the content area to see if there is anything that can be improved.

2)  I am adding "Background" and "Experimental Section" titles.

3)  I also am changing some font sizes.  See excel notes.
